13 year old sun conure

How long do you keep a bird hospitalized if her weight has improved and droppings but she still is puffed. Can't I treat her at home. I have already had her xrayed and it showed nothing and they are waiting for the blood work results. She has been there for 6 days and it is very costly

Could she be missing her environment and be treated at home. This is the time she usually lay eggs and could this be contributing to this.
