2 parakeets, one broke it's leg.

Sprite, my green budgie flew into my cieling fan a little over a week and a half ago, since then my other parakeet sprinkle has begun to pick on her, she pulls her tail, bites at her. I made the decision to seperate them. I just want to know if that was that best thing to do.

Yes, this was the best thing to do. Hopefully you took the other bird to an avian vet and now have both birds clipped so this won't happen again. I bet that was scary.
