Is it all fruits that affect your bird in this way or one certain kind? She could be allergic to some fruits. I give my bird apples and grapes which I peel. She really doesn't care for any other fruits. I also give her veggies; corn, peas, broccoli, string beans. I once gave her some green pepper and she was acting slow and lethargic afterwards so I never did it again.

Try the process of elimination by just giving the bird one kind of fruit once a day and see what reaction you get. If you are feeding the bird fruits from the approved fruits list, it doesn't mean that all these fruits are good for your particular birds' system, some might make her sick.

What type of fruit are you feeding her? More info would be helpful. Some fruit with seeds or pits are toxic. Also there is a possibility that she could be allergic to something. Do you wash the fruit before giving it to her, peel it and take pits or seeds out?

I would take her to an avian vet and have a blood workup done on her. It could possibly be something else causing this.

Are you feeding the bird completely organic food? The chemicals and poisons they feed and spray on crops are toxic.
