I am sorry, I can't save you any money with this one. The only way to know what is wrong, is to take the bird to an avian vet for an exam.
You see if someone here, even Dr B, suggests that you do something because the "think" they know what "might" be wrong, your bird may get worse or die because it did not get the specific treatment it needed. Also, the treatment you gave for the wrong thing, might cause other symptoms that will keep the vet from figuring out what is really wrong when you DO take it to the vet later.
Please let us know what you find out, so if someone else asks this question they will have a clue as to what it might be.
