a weird thing thats wrapped in the leg

hello! i got 2 parakeets on november 4, and i just noticed that one of the parakeets (which i believe is a female because of the brown above nostrils) has a blue small little thing wrapped in her leg,i cant figure out what that is? at first i thought mayby the pet store did that but then the both of the birds should have it..iam trying to figure this out, if you can help that would be great.

Something inside parrot's leg

Dr B would probably need to examine your bird to figure out what is in the leg. Whatever it is it is not normal. I suggest you Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird in person.
