About Nestbox moving
by: Linda

NO, you cannot change anything about the cage this late in the game. What will happen is the birds will break all the eggs and possibly never go to nest again.

Once birds are sitting on eggs, even cleaning the cage much has to be put on hold or do very little. Clean enough to keep the bottom free of debris and feces, and leave the rest alone until later.

Six eggs is about 2 too many, so you may need to handfeed the last 2-4 babies using baby parrot handfeeding formula with a syringe. This is a learned skill, so I recommend you start learning with a breeder in your area. After babies are born is too late to learn this very important skill, so now is the time.

Thanks for writing,
Linda
