my parrotts beak looks like its breaking in the middlehe is a african grey about 20 years old i buy him about 4 years ago what could be wrong with his beak look slike its has gotten worse in the last couple of days

This is very serious, and you will have to take him to be examined by an Avian Vet in your area. Do not take to regular dog and cat vet as they don't know what they are doing with birds.

An Avian Vet can run a few tests to see if your bird has a physical condition causing this. You cannot wait to take him to avian vet because if this breaks off, bird will probably bleed out and die. Avian vet may be able to put a type of patch on it to keep it from breaking further.

Please do not delay trip to avian vet or you may lose this bird in a way that could have beem prevented.
