African Grey parrot is mad at me

He's my number ONE!

I just got a new small dog and my male African Grey Parrot I've had for years is so mad at me he won't talk and is very aggressive, biting me and obviously jealous.

He is NOT plucking and is eating just fine, normal behaviors other than what I've stated above.

Any advice on how to handle this? Will he adjust? When??
LOL

I love love love my bird and want all to be harmonious with each other ;-)

Maybe she's scared.

I've noticed with my African gray and my blue fronted amazon that they attack me when they're scared. Not scared of me but just scared. If there's a way to show your friend that you are in control if that dog, your friend might be less tense(?).
Also, there's always jealousy to worry about with smart parrots. Maybe don't let your parrot see you playing with the dog.
Also if your parrot sees you training the dog, youll be in for the parrot making the dog sit, roll over and "come here"
