African Grey Slightly Bald Underneath Wings

Not sure if this is normal, he has a bit of bald underneath the wings, 'armpit' sort of area. Skin just looks pink not sore.

i just took my birds to the vet because they appeared to have bald spots under their wings as well. i feared that they migt've had mites or lice, but the avian vet said that they in fact were fine & that it's possibly because of how the feathers grew in or that they shedded or plucked some! anyhow a vet would be the 1st place to start in a solution to your question!!
