African grey suddenly inactive

My african grey has suddenly gone very quiet he usually talks or 'screaches' and climbs around his cage. He is eating and drinking and has no visible signs of illness, however he suddenly dosent seem very active either. He was born in April 2010

Bird inactive

When a bird gets quiet and inactive and stays that way, that is the first sign of illness. That means that you have probably caught whatever is wrong in the beginning stages.

Please take your bird to be seen in person by an avian vet. Dr B can not see your bird or run tests, so he can not help. He always wants birds to be seen in person when it is possible they are ill, because birds often die quickly from an illness that could have been treated if caught earlier.
