my african grey is kind of crying or whining like a puppy you know likw the low whistle type of cry. i dont know if hes sick hes also closing his eyes as if tired in daytime with the lights on which he never does. could there be a respiratory problem? hes eating and drinking like normal hes whistling and talking now although not as much as usual but his body language is def. showing signs of happiness and being content. he gives me kisses he sings with me and all. should i be concerned?

This is different behavior, so this is a cause for concern. It could be a bacterial infection, or something else. Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.
