AG Egg Laying

Can two female african grays stimulate one another to lay eggs.

I have two grays that have been together for 7 years. This year eggs started appearing and now twice within our months we have six eggs (each laid 4 days apart) in the nesting box. The first set was left in the nesting box until a full week after the last egg was laid.

You might have a male and a female. Have both birds been DNA tested? If they sit on the eggs and they hatch, this is the case.
Or, you may have two clutches of unfertilized eggs. It's is common for females to lay eggs. I have a friend whose African Grey female lays eggs every year. If you don't want this to happen, I would try taking away the nesting box.
