AG sore on face above beak

My african grey has got a bald patch on his left cheek above his beak could it be where he scratches himself or could it be something else

Bird scratching a bald spot

If your bird is scratching until there is a bald spot, then something is wrong. Dr B can not tell you what might be the problem, because he can not examine your bird.

Please take your bird to an avian vet to see what is causing your bird to scratch. It could have a sinus infection or something that it is trying to "get" to.
