alexandrine baby wing growth

Ive just got a 5 week old alexandrine bird.
Im just wondering why he has 1 wing shorter than the other?
Is it growth or would the seller have clipped 1 shorter?

Baby bird wings not even
by: Tracie

Without a picture it is hard to say. It may be that someone clipped one wing shorter than the other. You need to get them clipped evenly if that is the case.

You can look at the whole wing to see if it is just the feathers that are shorter or if it has a deformed wing. You should Find an Avian Vet to examine the bird regardless if the breeder has not had the bird examined by an avian vet to make sure it is healthy and disease free.
