Liquid droppings - bird needs vet
by: Tracie

Your bird needs to get to an avian vet right away. It could have an infection, blockage, disease, or any number of things.

Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.

If you are not taking your birds to an avian vet to make sure they are healthy before bringing them home, you may be passing diseases all around to your birds.

If the droppings is just liquid what does it mean? Is he eating?

Your bird is likely eating the food, and you are just seeing the crumbs because crumbs fall from the larger pieces of food.

Nobody can tell you what may be wrong or make your bird eat over the Internet. I suggest you change the paper at the bottom of the cage and observe the droppings today. If the bird has normal droppings, then the bird is eating. If the bird doesn't have normal droppings, then get the bird to an avian vet right away.

Find an Avian Vet link.

Your bird needs to be eating 80% high quality pellets and only 20% treats and seeds. If you need help switching your bird to a better diet you can use this Switching Birds To Pellets article to help convert your bird. You mentioned crumbs, so I suspect your bird already eats pellets though.
