alexandrine parrot 4 weeks old learn to talk

Alexandrine Parrot

i have 1 pair of alexandrine parrot near about 4 months old is that right that its pretty tough to make them talk together if yes, tell me some tricks to make them talk.... and they shout in their original voice only in morning and for the rest of the day they keep quite...tell me how can i make them talk.... thanks for help in advance

Yes what Linda says is absolutely true, just because a bird is capable of talking is no indication that it actually ever will. Ive also had birds that initially seemed to accept me only to find they form a stronger bond with another member of my family, if not another bird! As you are starting with a pair this is a hurdle to contend with from the start, however all of this must be accepted & you should pay the same respect to your birds to choose who they wish to interact with the same as we humans have choices in who we want relationships with.

Alexandrine parrots learn to talk 'together'

Hi, Alexandrines are noted for being amongst the top 10 talking parrots, but they may not start talking till until around 12mths old. I have kept a variety of parrots over the last 40yrs & have never had a problem teaching any to talk in the company of other birds, & have just added a young Alexandrine to my family :)

If you think you can make a parrot do anything it does not want to do, you have the wrong kind of pet. Since you went ahead and got two, neither one may ever talk. Pairs have each other and will not bond as you wish with the human caretakers. This becomes more pronounced as they age. It is always best to start with one bird that you can spend a lot of time with because then and only then will a bond of trust be formed allowing them to feel comfortable enough to learn to talk.

So, to recap, you cannot make a parrot do anything it does not enjoy doing or want to do. There are no magic potions to make this happen. Enjoy them for who and what they which are beautiful, highly intelligent creatures who have come into your home to teach you many things about them and about yourselves. You are also a student here as well as teacher, and your birds are also teachers as well as students. Respect them, love them and take the best care of them you can financially and emotionally manage.
