amazon sleeps most of the time

please help. is it normal for a blue fronted amazon to sleep most of the day. he is not active like the african grey. also does not want to eat his vegetables. eats fruit and organic rolled oats and a little yogurt mornings. during the day refuses to eat enything else, waits for seeds in evenings which i give sparingly. please help, i do not want him to get sick.
