BIG DIFFERENCE between an AVIAN & VET
by: Anonymous

Please bring your bird to an AVIAN, only a specialist can handle this situation, hopefully it is not too late! Please do let us know what is happening as well.

Sathya, if this was a human, you would be calling an ambulance.

Sathya, I'm very sad to hear about your bird and I can only imagine how you're feeling at this moment. I do hope that you've taken your bird to an Avian Vet and if so, your bird is in capable hands. All you can do now my friend,is to pray and hope for the best. I'll remember you both in my prayer's as well. My heart goes out to your bird and you Sathya, take care and God bless!

First of all your bird is not getting sick, it is dying right before your eyes. This bird needs to be examined and treated by an Avian Vet ONLY. If you've taken it to a dog and cat vet, then your bird is going to die because they have no idea what to do with birds as they are not licensed or trained in bird care. Forget the stuff they suggested you give your bird because it is already dying, don't make it worse with poison.

A link is provided below for help in finding an Avian Vet, and I fear it is too late, but as long as bird is breathing, there is always a chance of being saved if you move quickly as this is an emergency.

Baby parrots have to be fed baby parrot handfeeding formula, and if this bird has been eating anything else, it is being poisoned. Baby birds cannot digest anything but a mild, easy to digest formula made for baby parrots. Solid food will kill them.

Find an Avian Vet

Let us know what avian vet has to say and I hope your little bird survives.
