Baby bird can't stand

What's wrong with a 11 day old baby that won't stand on it's feet? It just wants to lay on it's back. Also it's toes or feet are not growing. It has a lump growing on top of both feet in the ankle area. It refuses to stand.

I would suggest getting your baby bird to a vet right away.

I dont know when a baby is supposed to stand, but, the lumps do not sound good. They are most likely painful, which discourages him from wanting to stand. I cant say I blame him for wanting to lay on his back.

Please find a vet that specializes in birds. Please remember, birds need yearly wellness check ups too.
