That young a bird usually does not do much more than eat and sleep and poop, and I strongly suggest you take him to an Avian Vet ONLY in your area as a lot of baby birds, especially as young as he is, already have some kind of infection. Baby birds do not last long with infections, and so have him examined. A throat swab works best for bacterial exam. Also make sure your handfeeding formula is supplying 100% nutrition. Roudybush is good and found here and just make sure his weight is right while at the avian vet's.

Do not wait on avian vet exam because if he is sick, this will effect his body's ability to process his food and can result in him being crippled if he's not getting all he needs.

Find an Avian Vet
