Bird loose in house
by: Tracie

First of all, I don't know what ingredients are in the cream, and probably wouldn't recognize all the chemicals anyway. Please call you avian vet ASAP when something happens like this in the future. Dr B can't help over the Internet and often isn't able to answer questions for days and your bird could die by then.

Next, please do NOT EVER let your bird fly around the house without you watching it's every move. Your bird could lick a toxic metal in your house, could fly and land on a picture and cause the picture to fall and fall with the picture and die. It could fly to the floor and someone could step on it. I could go on and on but you get the idea.

Birds die all the time from people letting them just fly around as if they understand the dangers of the household, or as if they know not to fly out a door.

Thanks for writing, please don't take what I wrote as looking down on you. I am just trying to educate you so that your bird will live.
