Bach remedy

Am I alowed to give my jardine parrot Bach medicine remedy.?
He is moody , bossy , jealouse, angry and hormonal. He bites if I come near his favoutite corner, he has sorted out as a dark place, Most probably for nesting.Itry to keep him from going there, but as the lounger is also my favourite
place.Being able to watch the moutain and the sunset, and read my book or drink my coffy and to generally relax.
What else can I do.
Please help.

Thank you for you answer back.
I will try Bach and if he is calmer and more responsive , will put in a better effort of training him. He is quite yealouse of his little brother , who is younger.

Bach remedy safe for birds

Bach remedies are safe for parrots, but they may not be the answer to your problems. Many things can cause the behaviors you are describing. Cages that are too small, unclipped wings, allowing them to play on their cage top, allowing them to ride on your shoulder, poor diets, poor lighting, inappropriate training and handling especially when they are babies, hand feeding you own bird, reproductive maturity, and many other situations cause these behaviors. I would need more information about his environment and life to be able to give advice on how this should be handled.

What would you give your bird if angciety and fear is the root of the problem?
1 rescue remedy
with holly, chicory, aspen and vine? I have read of the different mixes but is not too sure what to give.

Bach remedy

I'm not the Avian Vet, and he will come in and fill out anything else that needs saying.

I have expeience with the remedies, and you cannot give birds anything with alcohol which is how remedies are made with the highest proof, highest quality alcohol available.

You will need to have your bird checked out by an Avian Vet because neither you, me nor the online Avian Vet can tell you if anything is physically wrong with your bird. It sounds like there could be a physical problem, and a remedy of any kind cannot be given in case there is something wrong that can be treated by Avian Vet.

Thanks for writing and hold off on any remedies until you have had bird examined by Avian Vet in your area. Actually, since the remedies contain alcohol, I wouldn't give them to a bird in any event.

Bach is completely safe. I give mine Bach as well as rescue remedy. you can also get 'pet' stuff from brach. I don't know how good it is but it is safe for your birds so no harm in trying.

Not sure what anyone else thinks but I use rescue remedy for my birds if they are upset or something has scared them or they get sort of nippy. It relaxes them and you can bet it on the net or from a health food store.
