bare, crusty anal area, tired and listless budgie

sad budgieI have a budgie who seems very tired and listless, and has a large bare area around his/her anus. could this be mites? and can it be transferred to another budgie?

Your bird needs to be examined by an avian vet in person right away. Dr B can not tell you what is wrong, because he can not examine your bird or run any tests.
