How can you know if a bird feet is broke or leg the coler is good no bleed anything like that but she will not walk on it

Editor's note: If you want people to see and answer, you need to post a question, not an answer here to another question, at Parrot Questions

Bird with bleeding foot
by: Tracie

I appreciate that you got on the Internet to find the answer, but your bird could bleed to death while you wait for the answer. This is why we ask that people not post questions when a bird needs help right away.

Hopefully your bird did not bleed to death. There are different methods of attempting to stop the blood flow that work as long as the bird doesn't keep picking at it and making it bleed again.

It is best, in the future, to pack the wound with flour, since most people have that, and quickly get to your avian vet. If you don't have an avian vet, then please Find an Avian Vet for your bird and keep the phone number on your refrigerator.

It would be a good idea to find a reputable breeder, one that keeps a clean environment and takes their birds to avian vets before selling them, that you can call for help when vet offices are closed.
