Hi! First I want to say that I know that laying on the bottowm of the cage is a trait known for a Conure. I have a 9 year old African Grey named "KIng Shaka Zulu". I have seen him do this once or twice, but not often. It is not to say that this is abnormal, but I always suggest to anyone that is concerned about a behavioral change to get their feathered baby checked. It is always better to be safe than sorry. Keep monitoring the bird's behavior. If he eats well, plays the same and poop looks the same, it should be ok.
