Bird with water coming from nares

by Loredana

I have a 2 year old african grey and we just brought her home from my grandmothers yesturday evening since we were in Florida. We've done ever since she was a little baby.

But we've noticed that after the following morning when my father gave her a bath until tonight her nose is redish-pinkish and water has been coming out of her nose. She's sleeps on her one foot which is normal .... she's been eating alright.
HELP

Liquid coming for bird's nares
by: Tracie

Water coming from the nares usually indicates either allergy, illness or infection. To find out what it is and what needs to be done to help the bird, you need to Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird.
