Bird's butt bare, no feathers...

My bird hit his bottom on cement. I think he keeps pulling the feathers out because it is bare at the very back of his bottom. Anytime he bumps it now, it bleeds but I am able to put pressure on it and it stops. It appears he damamged the skin there. What should I do to speed the healing so that the feathers can grow back?
