i think my indian ring neck parrot is biting his own foot, what should i do and why is he doing this?

This could be an alergic reaction to something it eats, like chemicals on human food or cheap pellets. It could be a bacterial infection or something else too.

Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird right away to have this checked out.

If your bird is not eating 80% healthy pellets like Harrison's or Roudybush then please start feeding your parrot a good brand pellets and NO seed with vitamins in them. Colored pellets and cheap pellets with sugar are known to cause birds to bite themselves.
