Black bump on parrot's foot

We just noticed she has nice size bump on her toe , it's black and hard . Hurt to touch seems like. Fever on the leg. I will go to the vet tommorrow , just thought may be any idea ahead of time ?

What kind of bird? This could be an abscess or a tumor. He needs to go in ASAP.
