black capped conure rubs beak

My blacke capped conure is 5 months old and when i put him on top of his cage he rubs his beek what does it mean?

Also he bobs his head does that mean he is excited?

Birds also show ownership and territory by rubbing their beaks on things. When he's on top of the cage, rubbing the bars he's saying " im the king of the castle, and this is MINE!

He rubs his beak to clean food off it. He bobs his head to communicate with you.

I suggest you find some information about your Conure on the internet. Do a search on Black Capped Conures and see what all comes up. You need to understand parrot behavior before you can understand yours, so get busy with the homework you need to be doing. Learning about parrots is a lifelong work, so get started now and you'll then know much more than me when you are 63.
