Bleeding Beak

Hi Ophelia,
I'm originally from Tunapuna, Trinidad. I'm so sorry for your poor duck. You would've to take your duck to an Avian Vet as soon as possible or the duck may have a slow and painful death. Things like these, need immediate attention so please do not delay but take your duck to an Avian Vet. ONLY AN AVIAN VET can help your duck at this time.
I don't know exactly where in Trinidad you're but what I do know, there is a vet in Tunapuna somewhere between the Tunapuna market and the University of the West Indies. Someone would be able to give you the directions once you're in Tunapuna; most taxi drivers would be able to do so.
I wish your duck gets well, so you take care and God bless.

Bleeding Beak

Your duck is in serious condition. No one on the internet can help you because the bird has to be examined in person by an Avian Vet. It sounds as if he has injured himself severely, and will not recover without help from a licensed and trained avian vet. If you have no avian vets near you, take him to whichever vet is near because he is in pain and may possibly die. Without care from some kind of vet, he will surely die.

Let us know what the vet has to say and thank you for trying to help him.

Bird with bleeding beak
by: Tracie

There is not any help to be found over the Internet. Please use this Find an Avian Vet link to find an avian vet for your bird so it can be examined to determine what is wrong and what the potential treatment might be.

If you do not have an avian vet where you live, then look up a reputable bird breeder and ask who they take their sick birds to.

Thank you for rescuing the bird and trying to help it.
