blister on shoulder blade of baby cockatiel

my friend who is babysitting the baby cockatiel she sold to me. I was gone for 3 days so she needed to continue to feed the 13 week old cockatiel baby food while I was gone. she bathed the cockatiel tonight and found a blister on the baby cockatiels shoulder blade. she is accusing me and my daughter of burning it while bathing it or feeding it. it had no signs of blisters or injuries when I dropped the cockatiel off to her. what can cause blisters on the cockatiels should blade.

blister on cockatiel

Certainly heat burn, as well as chemical burns cause blisters. Viral infections can sometimes cause them too. Bacterial infections. Benign causes include air sac inflation and subcutaneous emphysema. I recommend that an avian veterinarian take a look at the blister to determine if it is a blister and a cause.
