I woke up this morning to take my umbrella cockatoo out of her sleeping cage to find blood on top of her head and then upon looking further her one nostril looked like it had been bleeding..I cleaned her up to look further and she kept on sneezing out blood, I dont know if she hit her nostril on the cage or what and I'am worried but her stool is fine and green and white and she is eating..she stopped sneezing and there is no blood but I wondered if it could be some hidden lining? please help..her name is "dexter" and she is 8 months old..

Bleeding bird needs avian vet
by: Tracie

Dr. B wants all birds with evidence of bleeding to see an avain vet ASAP. The only way it can determined what happened and what needs to be done is by an examination.
