blue crown nanday mix?

I have a male blue crown conure and a female nanday conure. I was told they couldn't reproduce, but they laid 2 eggs today. Could these eggs be viable? If so, what do I need to do? The birds have very little interest in them and just rolled them to the corner of the cage. They did not lay the eggs in the "nest" they had made, and they are not sitting on them.

I am sorry this did not get answered. I am not a breeder, so I was hoping someone else would answer this.

I don't think the eggs are fertile and since they abandoned them, you can just throw them away.

Since your bird is given to laying eggs, please read the articles on egg laying on our Parrot Training page so that you will understand how to care for your bird in this situation.

One of the things that is a must, is that your birds need to be on a healthy pellet diet like Harrison's to prevent egg binding. If your hen gets egg bound, she may die.
