bourke parrot loosing feathers

Hi I have a scarlet chested parrokeet whom is normally bright blue. He has turned to a blacky grey color and loosing all of his feathers on the back of his neck. What could be wrong with him and how can I treat him? Makes me sad seeing him like this.

I said scarlet chested parokeet!

I have explained as above it is a scarlet chested parokeet and its in with a bourke parrot... both have been healthy up untill the warmer whether came. The are inside birds. *weird* The other bird is healthy as ever.

bird losing feathers

You said bourke's parakeet and scarlet chested keet, but either one should not be losing feathers the way you describe. Please Find an Avian Vet to examine your bird to rule out disease and infection.
