Breaking bonded pair of sun conures for breeding ?

I recently purchased a breeding pair of sun conures after DNA results came back informed me they whaere both females. As i'm thinking of seperating the 2 for breeding, both are 4 yrs old wondering how long to bond ? Or what are good or bad behaviours to look out for when i place new birds with the old ones ?

Splitting up female sun conures for breeding

Yes, they can be re-paired. It cold take up to a few years for birds to form a bond. May I say that there are so many birds out there that need homes, more do not need to be produced. Consider keeping these as pets and forgo the idea of producing more babies that will end up in sanctuaries and rescues.
