Bones in birds legs
by: Aletta

Yes
All birds does have bones in their legs just like any other animal or human. If it gets broken a vet can do a x ray and determan the extent of the damage and take from there. He may oprerate or repair it as he sees fit. A sighn of it being broken is bleeding and of course not using the leg , or with difficulty.
Hope this helps.

Bird broken leg question
by: Tracie

Yes, birds have bones in their legs. Birds have hollow bones, so they break easily. Broken bones must be examined and hopefully splinted by an avian vet.
