Budgerigar tumor prevention

Is there anything that we can do at home to prevent budgies getting brain/other tumors? And what are common illnesses and the symptoms in budgies?

Signs of illness in birds

No there is nothing to prevent tumors. Signs of illness include not vocalizing or talking, sitting in one spot, especially when poop Is collecting, not eating loosing weight, sitting fluffed, abnormal droppings. If you think your bird is sick, then put him in a heated cage at 95º and take him to see an avian veterinarian immediately.
