My budgie has grown a huge lump on his stomach. It is all crusty and red.

Do you think that it is contagious? He isn't,t in any pain at all and has had it for a few weeks. There is no avian vet for miles.

Bird with huge crusty lump

You need to Find an Avian Vet right away to examine and treat your bird in person. There is not anything a vet can do for your bird over the Internet.

I am sorry, there just is not anything over the counter that treats unknown problems. Your bird could have a tumor, a disease, or an infection or any combination of these.
