bumps on parakeets feet

My parakeet has bumps on his feet is this normal? He doesn't have any problems getting around.

 Bumps on bird's feet

A picture would have been helpful, but "bumps" are not normal on bird's feet. Dr B can not tell you what these "bumps" are without examining your bird. Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird to be examined in person.

Sometimes people do not replace the cheap wooden dowels that come with cages with proper perches and this causes foot problems. Please make sure your bird has some natural wood branches and maybe a couple of Polly's Pastel Pedicure Perchs to help the nails stay trimmed.
