feather plucking

My cockatiel did the same thing last month.I took her to the vet and after a round of antibiotics she quit. The feathers haven't grown back yet (she looks like a fuzz ball) but there aren't any in the bottom of her cage. I bought Pluck-No-More and gave that to her along with the antibiotics but quit after about two weeks.
A friend of mine had the same thing happen to her cockatiel but didn't take it to the vet and it died within 2 weeks. Its always better to get them checked out.

Quaker pulled out feathers

It would be a great idea to take your bird to an avian vet to make sure your bird does not have something wrong with it.

If you feel that the bird might have a behavioral problem in the end, please read these two articles, even though they are similar.
