Do not attempt to put these two birds together if you are inexperienced. You never want to put new birds together in the same cage anyway because they most likely will not get along and can certainly cause serious injury on one another and even death.. So prepare to purchase another cage. You can certainly put the cages side by side and let them only interact under strict supervision. But then be aware that these birds may at one point mate and you may end up with breeding birds, which typically makes them unhandleable. Which at this point too, you had better done all your research on breeding, because it is expensive and not easy. Plus, depending where you are from, make sure these types of parrot are in demand, we certainly do not want to add to the problem of homeless unhealthy parrots. Be prepared that with two birds, it will be twice the noise, twice the mess, and twice the expense.
