can i mix parrots in one cage?

i have an SI eclectus and we would like to put another species of bird in with him...his cage is huge...can we do this?

It is possible, but you must make sure the birds like each other.

Not a good idea. Birds are usually protective of their homes. My cockatiel lost a toe just climbing on another birds cage.

Can I Mix Parrots In One Cage?

I wouldn't recommend mixing any other parrots species in with an Eclectus.I myself am owned by several Eclectus from SI,Vos,RS.And no matter how big the cage is you shouldn't mix them with different species of parrots.Are you possibly talking about housing him with other species of Eclectus?If that is what you are talking about then I would do that under strict supervision.If your talking about with smaller species or more aggressive species you would be taking a chance risking the life of one or both parrots involved.
Not saying this can't happen with any parrot.
