Canary acting like she has a cold

My canary is breathing like she has a cold,u can literally hear some mucus or snot in her poor beak :( I went to an avian vet before and they said it was probabably from all the dust and stuff they found when they quitip swabbed or something) in her mouth. But its worse and when she cheeps its quiet and you can hear a bubbling noise(like when we have a cold and breathe in from our nose) She has to open her beak to breathe mostly, and sometimes she does it really wide and "sniffles" really loudly.
