Canary: Strangely Grown Claw

by SaMeen
(Bahrain)

My canary has been standing on his one leg since 2 days now. I thought he hurt himself, but when i saw his claw closely and compared it to the other one, the middle finger seems red and a little swollen. He's been standing on one leg and eating on one leg too.. He cannot keep it down. Only for sometime then pulls it up again

Please Help!
Is there something i can apply to make him feel better?
:(

Canary with foot problem
by: Tracie

There is not anything you can apply to make it better. There is likely a growth or something internally wrong causing this problem.

Please Find an Avian Vet for your bird. Dr B can not help, because your bird needs to be examined in person to get help.
