First of all, your bird was too young to be sold unless you already know how to handfeed him handfeeding formula using a syringe. I suggest you take him back to breeder so they can finish handfeeding him.

Your bird will not be ready to begin the weaning process until he is at least 3 months old, so you have to be feeding him baby parrot handfeeding formula found here using a syringe. Feeding with the syringe is a learned skill, so get whoever sold him to you so young to help you with this.

This message is for EVERYONE reading this. DO NOT buy birds who are not weaned unless you understand how to handfeed a baby bird safely with a syringe. Baby birds who are newly weaned will revert back to needing to be handfed again at least once or twice a day, so make sure you know what you're doing before getting a baby bird of any kind.
