Cat bacteria
by: Anonymous

It is not a poison. It is a bacteria.

This same bacteria can wind an infant human in the hospital.

This bacteria is used for hunting small prey. This is realy bad. As the bird will not be in good condition.

This bird or any small animal for that matter needs to see a vet ASAP.

cat had my budgie in its mouth help

You have to get this bird to an Avian Vet in your driving area immediately or risk it dying. Cats have a poison in their saliva and claws that kills birds, so your bird will need medical services immediately.

While at the avian vet's, have birds wings clipped. Just the 4-6 long primary flight feathers at the ends of each wing is enough to keep bird from having lift enough to fly all over. Keep the cat away from bird when bird is out of cage because this bird may die, and next bird will also be in danger all the time.

Good Luck and God's speed!
