male rosella's are very loving birds towards there partners IE you and it is only showing its dominance of you to your partner basiclly saying do one she,he is mine as for biting you fron time to time it is sayins im boss i am worning you. but this behaviour will most likelly get worse if you do not act soon. when the bird gets agressive swiftly place bird back in cage away from you and over time the bird will assoseate the cage with bad behaviour

It is possible that the bird is jealous and doesn't want to share you with your partner, or there is something that your partner wears or does that he doesn't like.

The other problem sounds like it is protecting it's territory. Many birds do not like their human flock to mess with their cage.
