For the pasr week one of my chicks has been hunched and not growing well. She is eating and drinking just fine. I do not want to put her down but she is noticably smaller than my other chicks of the same breed..

Chick hunched and smaller

All babies except the first two are smaller because eggs hatch every other day making the last two considerably smaller than the first two.

If this baby has an infection, then so do the other three, and you need to take them all to Avian Vet immediately because all can die from infections.

Chick smaller and hunched over

This isn't something Dr B can help with, because he can't examine your bird and talk to you about food, environment etc. This post doesn't even mention the breed, how old the bird is or what you are feeding the bird etc.

Since the bird is hunched over and smaller than the other birds, it could be ill. Please Find an Avian Vet to examine the bird, you may not have to "put the bird down" but may be able to help the bird.
