Clicking noise

I read the other comments and had to reply, if the others owned the same bird, they would know exactly what you mean.

The clicking is his primary attempts to vocalize and mimic what he hears around him.

Do not be alarmed, this is quite natural for the larger hook bills, he is rubbing his beak similar to us snapping our fingers.....he may have been as surprised as you when he first made the noise, and it will continue.

This is a creative bird, you will hear all sorts of interesting sounds in the future, some will be pleasant, others will rock the house.

I won't say for sure, because I don't know what kind of clicking sound you mean exactly.

But my Golden Mantled Rosella clicks at my other animals, it's a territorial thing, kind of telling them to go away.

It might just be that.

Good luck x

I don't understand what you mean by a clicking sound? If your bird is having trouble breathing, he needs to go to an Avian Vet. If you have not taken your bird into an Avian Vet in the last year, he needs to go in to be checked out for infection, parasites and/or problems with liver or kidneys which will show up in simple blood tests.
